POWER FLOW STUDY

The power flow study consists of determining the distribution of active and reactive power flows, complex bar tension, mathematical modeling of the system.

What is the power flow for?

With the information obtained, it will allow the determination of the operating status of the electrical system, verify the operation of the system under analysis, and indicate what must be done to correct and prevent possible inadequacies in the operation.

A POWER FLOW STUDY WILL

Reduce your electric bill by determining the location and size of the power factor correction capacitors.
Assist in future planning and current operation, demonstrate how the electrical system will function during normal and emergency operating conditions.
Determine the appropriate transformer tap settings so that the correct voltage is present on motors and other loads during full and unloaded loads.
Identify underutilized equipment for which it will allow the future growth of the load.
