I knew that every birth was different but what I didn't realize was that my second delivery could be so beautiful, touching and incredible. On my first experience I had the happiness of having my first baby boy in my arms, and I have no words to express what I felt in that moment... also the fear for pain was huge and I didn't have a professional person to empower me. In other hands my second birth... aaahh the second... despite of having the most important people in my life that I love there, SHE was there... the doula, MY Doula Leide Diana and absolutely yes, she did all the difference. I'm certain that without her I would not have done it. What a beautiful work she does, with her sweet words encouraging me, soft and strong hands, she helped me to go through all the pain... the pain that seemed t be excruciating, and with her talent and knowledge she kept me calm, and gave me support. This birth was beyond of what I had dreamed about it and for sure, if we could go back in time you would definitely have been there for my first delivery... however it does not go back but even though I'm thankful to GOD because He sent me you to be there for me, during my second pregnancy and tombe there by my side in that painful moment, but also one of the happiest day for our family, when we felt so much joy, excitement and Love. Leide Diana is an amazing Doula! Both my husband and I can attest to Leide’s ability and knowledge. Her presence during the birth of our son was a tremendous help. This was our first pregnancy and we both wanted to have an experienced and encouraging coach to help us along the way. In addition, I wanted to complete childbirth naturally with no medication. Leide was helpful in educating us in what to expect in the weeks leading up to the birth, the childbirth process itself, and what to expect postpartum. During labor and delivery Leide was very professional and nurturing. I found her coaching, and knowledge to be superior to my nurses. She was quick to suggest laboring positions and to ask questions and make suggestions that were in my best interest. Leide helped me achieve my ideal labor and delivery. I couldn't take it anymore... but Leide was always saying comforting words, holding my hands, touching my hair and that way; I could resist until the next time. In each contraction doing the double hip squeeze to relieve my pain she suffered with me. At the end, we were both exhausted because relentlessly she pushed herself to soften my suffering. So when we heard that first crying of our baby boy, it was an amazing moment to celebrate. She was so passionate, gentle and delicate. I have no words to express our deepest appreciation for having her essential company during my labour and delivery. My beautiful story fulfilled with happiness would have been a nightmare without her precious help. Our relationship didn't end on my delivery... After 4 days my baby boy was born, I had a uterus and bladder prolapse and it was one of the scariest thing ever. It was midnight and even bough she came to pick me up and took me to the hospital so my husband could be with our oldest daughter at home. She spent the night with me and my baby in the ER and she advocated formem many times so they could hurry to give me the best treatment. In that moment I realized that she's not only a Doula, but also an angel.
